Here is why I need it: I was laid off from work 15 months ago and have had little luck finding work in Civil Engineering as a designer so I thought I would improve my odds by going back to school and adding GIS and Access Database to my list of skills. The problem I have is the ArcGIS 9.3 trial version they give us to use at home runs out every 60 days and it takes them 10 to 15 days to get me the new code for the software so I get behind on homework. I would like to get the crack files so I can finish the GIS program in a reasonable time so I can get back to work ASAP.Just to be clear, I am not trying to steal the software to make money or use it for anything other than the intended use, which is to complete the GIS course. I do not intend to use the software for work or making money I just want to have the time needed to learn the program and do my homework for class. If I did start my own business using GIS, I would purchase the software license.
I is not likely I will ever need it at home after I graduate because most jobs using GIS would not be contract work but working for an employer in the employers office.I found several websites that have crack for programs so you can use them longer than the trial period, but I cannot figure out how to get it to work. Does anyone have any experience with crack for programs?
If so can you tell me how to use it? It is only good for that school year then it times out.When I took the Adobe Photoshop class for photographic restoration I paid $19.99 for a copy of Adobe Photoshop 7.It does everything the professional photoshop 7 does.I also bought Office 2007 for my home computer through a 'Home use' license from work. Because our company bought a site license I was able to get Office 2007 for $25.00There are many student program licenses available for major software packages.

I would think that would be MUCH more important than GIS, and GIS is basicly AutoCAD linked with a database. Especially AutoCAD Civil 3d. And, how does the school recommend homework be done??

Try contacting ESRI about their student licenses directly.I do have the software from ESRI and it is good for a year but I still need to get a new code every 60 days and then it will only last a year. I think the class is going to take longer than a year because I am going to school at night and I can only get one class a week. I still get occasional short jobs in the field - but fewer & fewer each month.My AutoCAD, Civil 3D skills are good I have close to 20 years of experience in civil design, AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other design software. I have found many companies are asking for AutoCAD and GIS skills so I am adding GIS to improve my skills so I can get back to work. I think part of the problem is companies can hire young people fresh out of school for very little money. I would take something for less than my previous salary just to get back to work, but they tell me they do not want to hire someone with my experience for and entry level job because they think I will quit as soon as I find a higher level job, so I am not getting those jobs.
